Wamagriso School Celebrates 17th Thanksgiving Service

Wamagriso Nursery, Primary, and Secondary School marked a significant milestone on Sunday, 26 April 2026, with the celebration of its 17th Annual Thanksgiving Service.

The event, themed “His Faithfulness Endures Forever,” was a vibrant display of gratitude, unity, and academic excellence, drawing pupils, parents, staff, and distinguished guests from across the community.

During the ceremony, Mr. Ibrahim B. M. Turay, Head of Wamagriso Primary School, urged attendees to reflect on the collective efforts that have contributed to the school’s growth. He emphasized the importance of embracing gratitude in daily life and encouraged active participation in the celebration.

School board member Mr. Brima Kamara highlighted the significance of thankfulness, citing biblical inspiration and expressing pride in the school’s steady development over the years. He praised the institution’s progress and called for continued dedication.

Representing the pupils, Deputy Head Girl Saffinatu Sesay expressed heartfelt appreciation to school administrators, teachers, parents, and fellow students. She encouraged her peers to remain committed to their studies and strive for excellence.

The programme also featured students reading from Philippians 4:4–7, emphasizing rejoicing, prayer, and thanksgiving. Spiritual nourishment was provided by a sermon from Apostle Hector, who prayed for the school’s leadership, parents, and students, seeking divine guidance and success.

A colourful march pass, symbolizing discipline and unity among pupils, served as a highlight of the event, reinforcing the school’s commitment to holistic education and moral values.

The 17th Thanksgiving celebration concluded on a joyful note, leaving attendees inspired and hopeful for the future of Wamagriso School.
