The Second Session of the Sixth Parliament of the Second Republic of Sierra Leone of the Committee on Appointment and Public Services on Tuesday 5th August 2025 Approved HaJa Kadie Johnson Proposed Member , Sierra Road Authority Board. Mr Joseph Maada Lahai Proposed Commissioner National Youth Commission, Mr Emmanuel Sahr Todonbeh Proposed Ombudsman, Ms Jenneh Jabti ,Proposed Deputy Minister 11, Ministry of Finance, Mr Alfred Mathias Kobba, Proposed Deputy Director General, National Petroleum Regulatory Authority, Mr Mustapha Mark Lissa, Proposed Director General, Sierra Leone Shipping Agency.
The Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Appointment and Public Service Hon Matthew Sahr Nyuma who is also the Leader of Government Business while presenting the six Nominees in the well of parliament he stated that the Second Session of the Sixth Parliament of the Second Republic of Sierra Leone, 15th report of the Committee of Appointment and Public Service on Parliamentary Vetting of Presidential Nominees. The Committee on Appointment interdental with it Constitutional Obligations Met on Friday 1st of August, 2025, and Interviewed Six Presidential Nominees for the following positions: Deputy Minister 11 Ministry of Finance, The Ombudsman, Director General,Sierra Leone Shipping Agency ,Deputy Director General National Regulatory Agency, Commissioner National Youth Commission, Member Sierra Leone Roads Authority Board.
The Committee interviewed nominees on issues patenting to their Education Background to ensure they have the relevance education necessary experience to lead such important office of the state , and that probing questions cover wide ranges related to track records pertinent to declared asset task obligations,Issues of unsuitability or also otherwise were also looked into by the committee .

Noting that, She is well known for producing award wining series both radio and Television for National Broadcasting then SLBS now,SLBC, she has spend all her professional in the Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corperation from 1986- date. Her dedication uprightness and commitment to duty and has her earned several awards Nationally including professional Awards in 2017. And a justice of Peace Award in 2022.
He added that the Committee endorsed her remarkable National Service as Worthy and recorded instances where the commanding point of the Nominees work through the Morning and Evening Airwaves of SLBC on contending issues relating to Gender.
