In Mambolo Chiefdom Kambia District, report allegedly that, one Foday Sumah on the 13th May 2025 killed himself by hanging. The incident has left his relatives and the entire chiefdom with mix felling as to what led t-he the gentle man to take his own life. The body was discovered outside the community in Mambolo village.
Report states that the late man Foday Summah was prominent in the diamond industry, having established himself as a successful dealer in Kono District for 16 years. It was learnt that before his death he was a business man which led him to relocate from Kono to his homeland.
According to a close family source, before his death he was involve into drugs which has also led to his health. During that battle he could not cope with the stigma that was attached to him while engaging into drugs. Further investigation is ongoing to establish the more fact behind his death.
