The team supporting Diana Veronica Fillie (Blackie) for the position of regional Secretary General of the Sierra Leone Association of Journalists South held a successful manifesto launch titled “Diana’s Vision” at the Imperia Hotel in Bo.
The event saw the presence of key stakeholders, including the Chief Administrator of Bo District Council, representatives from the Development Planning Office, Bo City Council, the Civil Society Organization, the 50-50 Group, and the Sierra Leone Programs Manager, among others.
The manifesto emphasized capacity building, institutional strengthening, the welfare and security of journalists, and collaboration with the government and other stakeholders.
This groundbreaking event was the first in the history of SLAJ South Elections.
