Lachaeveh A. K. Davies Wins Miss Sierra Leone 2025

Lachaeveh A. K. Davies, representing the Western Area Rural District, is the new Queen in town after she was officially crowned Miss Sierra Leone 2025.

The grand finale of the national beauty pageant which took place at the Bintumani Conference Centre was another masterpiece bringing 15 pageants to the stage to battle for this prestigious crown.

Lacheaver emerged victorious among 15 contestants from across the country making her the winner of the 2025 beauty pageant show. Miss Pujehun, Mariyam L. Konneh, was named 1st Runner-Up, while Miss Bombali, Lala B. Sidibe, secured the 2nd Runner-Up position respectively.

The newly crowned Miss Sierra Leone could not hold back as she burst into tears when she was pronounced winner of the 2025 beauty pageant.

As the new Miss Sierra Leone, the newly crowned beauty Queen will represent Sierra Leone at the Miss World competition this year.

This year’s event saw 10 contestants eliminated during the early stages, leaving a final five that included Miss Moyamba – Odia H. Tarawally, Miss Bombali – Lala B. Sidibe, Miss Western Area Rural – Lachaeveh A. K. Davies, Miss Pujehun – Mariyam L. Konneh, and Miss Koinadugu – Kosarow Kargbo.

Speaking earlier, Dr. Adonis Abboud, Chairman of Miss Sierra Leone Limited, lauded the contestants while praising the transparent nature of the competition. “From auditions to the grand finale, the 2025 Miss Sierra Leone pageant was free, fair, and credible,” he said.

Dr. Abboud also applauded the contestants, describing them as “bold, brilliant, and beautiful young women” who showcased not only beauty but also the pride of their districts and the strength of their personal journeys.

Janneh Amara Bangali, Board Member of Miss Sierra Leone Limited, highlighted the pageant’s focus on character development. She noted that eligibility criteria include district representation and other requirements.

“We focus on building resilience, focus, poise, and confidence through our training and development programs,” she added.

Founded in 2001, Miss Sierra Leone Limited continues to play a leading role in shaping the national pageant landscape and holds the exclusive rights to the Miss World franchise in Sierra Leone.

The pageantry was full of fascinating performance from the beauty queens, ranging from the Africana outfit, evening dress and beach wear.

The contestants also displayed brilliance, artistry and a show of confidence.

This year’s Miss Sierra Leone work away with a brand new Suzuki Car, a monthly stipend of NLe50,000 and scholarship. The show also displayed amazing performance from the MCs in the persons of Phibean Swill of AYV TV and Eric Kawa of Capital Radio.
