The Great Redemption Crusade is back and this time the crusade is been done in collaboration with the Body of Christ. This pronouncement came on Wednesday 8th October 2025 during the launched of the 2025 edition at the Methodist Hall, Kingharman Road in Freetown.
Giving the background of the crusade, Rev Gadiru Bassie Evangelical Fellowship (EFSL) said he is glad to be part of the program and that the crusade will be used as a tool to harvest souls in Sierra Leone.
‘’We pledge our support to this process and support Pastor Mambu for this great vision.
Rev Dr. Jesse Fornah of the Inter-Religious Council described Pastor Mambu as a humble servant of God and somebody who can be easily approach.
‘’Pastor Mambu’s devotion and commitment to work is second to none. The Great Redemption Crusade has affected a number of lives in the country including people in government and high places. We also know this year’s crusade will not be an exception, Rev. Usman Fornah said.
Bishop Julious Laggah of Inter-continental also pledge his support towards the crusade and that this is the way to go.
He said it is time to start supporting our own people and the more reason why the body of Christ should see the Great Redemption Crusade as theirs.
‘’We’ve have been supporting a foreign crusades for far too long what more can we do about ours. This is a new chapter in our country. Let us throw our weight behind this crusade because it is a crusade for Sierra Leone.
Chairman Great Redemption Crusade Pastor Josephus D Paris in his statement said the crusade is set to ignite and transform lives across Sierra Leone with a powerful message of salvation, hope, assurance and national restoration.
He said the Crusade is organized under the divine inspiration, and it seek to win souls for Jesus Christ and usher in a new wave of revival, holiness, purity and righteousness across the land.
Pastor Paris noted that this landmark spiritual gathering marks a pivotal moment in the nation’s journey towards healing and renewal.
Pastor Paris gave background of the crusade how it started noting that the Great Redemption Crusade first started in 2006 and that this was immediately after the disarmament programme.
He said in 2015 the Lord spoke to his servant Pastor Francis AM Mambu for the expansion of the campaign and since then it became a national campaign holding crusades at the national stadium and the provinces.
He however noted that the campaign was put on due to COVID 19 in 2020.
‘’But to the glory of God, the crusade has birth life changing institution like the redeemer Media Network, God’s agent of transformation, discipleship training, the Revival Labour Prayer Group, which conducts all-night prayer on the Redeemer Radio Network in Freetown and frequencies in the regions fot the past eight years.
