NSA Boss Blesses Weightlifters
NSA Boss Dr. Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai has blessed Sierra Leonean Weightlifters to compete for medals at the Junior Weightlifting Championship in Ghana and to bring home such laurels.
Dr. Abdulai expressed this sentiment at the weightlifters’ farewell visit to the NSA on Friday.
Delegation leader and Technical Director of the association Sallieu Kamara said they visited the NSA to ask for Dr. Emmanuel Abdulai’s blessings as they embark on this championship.
Responding, Dr. Abdulai granted them his blessings and the grace of all well-meaning Sierra Leoneans. “Go and compete for all the medals and bring them home,” he added, thanking the Weightlifting Association for embarking on this championship amid financial challenges.
He reinforced President Bio’s message on sports as a tool to address employment issues, particularly for the young population of the country. “As we continue to wish you well, the NSA is ready to receive you with medals and trophies from the Championship,” he concluded.
