Minister Dr. David Moinina Sengeh convened a high-level stakeholder meeting to deliberate on how to rollout Wan Gov & GoPay, a digital government platform designed to transform public service delivery in line with President Julius Maada Bio’s Big Five Game Changers.
“We are here to address two critical issues on public sector reform and the use of technology to improve government performance,” the Chief Minister said. The meeting included representatives from Ministries of Finance, Transport, National Revenue Authority, Port Authority and AG’s Office.
WanGov & GoPay represents a unified platform that enhances how the government interacts with citizens. It supports service delivery, revenue generation, and even law and order. This initiative is central to reshaping public administration and citizen engagement.

Minister of Communication, Technology, and Innovation, Madam Haja Salima Monorma Bah, echoed the platform’s significance: “This speaks directly to public sector reform. It increases efficiency in how services are delivered and accessed by citizens. We’ve already worked with institutions like the Administrator General’s Office, Attorney General’s Office, SLRSA, and EDSA. Similar systems are already yielding results in countries like Rwanda, Kenya, and the UK.”
Mr. Dama, from the Ministry of Communication, Technology, and Innovation delivered a PowerPoint presentation showcasing how WanGov & GoPay allow citizens to easily access, pay for, and track government services in real time.
