Ady Maculey graced the 2025 Inter-Community League Trophy finals at the Approved School Playing Field on Saturday, praising the event as a vital tool for nation-building. The tournament was hosted by the Approved School Sports Promoters Association (ASSPA.

Speaking after witnessing the event, Maculey stated that he was deeply impressed by the passion and energy displayed by the young participants. The atmosphere was reported as electric, particularly during a thrilling semi-final qualifying match where the Kanikay Community battled the Grassfield Community.
The closely contested match was noted for showcasing true talent, teamwork, and a strong community spirit. Maculey emphasized that such sporting events continue to serve as a unifying force, building essential values of discipline, resilience, and hope among the youth.

“I left the field inspired by their determination,” Maculey said. “It served as a clear reminder that investing in youth and sports development is not just about games; it is fundamentally about nation-building.”
